Book Review: Slacker

Hi guys, today I will be giving you another book review on one of my favorite books called Slacker. It was written by Gordon Korman, a  New York Times bestselling author. Here’s the summary and my thoughts:

Cam Boxer is the laziest slacker in his entire school. In his so-called lifestyle the only thing that he loves to do is play video games. So in one incident he nearly let his house burn down by forgetting to take the ziti out of the oven and his parents were getting close to taking all of his video game time away. Thinking that it would solve his problems, Cam starts a new fake club called the Positive Action Group in his school to bribe his parents to tell them that he is doing good to the community. But when Cam’s neighbor Daphne Leibowitz thinks that the P.A.G. is real, the word spreads on to the club’s later faculty advisor and attracts hundreds of students. Cam then has to go with flow and eventually sets out to save a beaver named Elvis. On the way he makes some cool new friends and finds out the realest thing about him.

This book is full of entertaining interaction and laughs. So many feel good and funny incidents that just make me gravitate towards the book. It is now a book I would read over and over again. If you are into these kinds of books, get up, get it, and read it. Oh, by the way tell me what you think about Slacker. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time. Bye! 😀
