Hi everyone, today we’re in for some tips on how to have a garden of garlic! It is very simple and you have to wait for your garlic more than you have to work for it. Instructions:
- Take small toy cups and fill them with water to the brim.
- Then take bulbs of garlic and place them on the top of water- filled cups.
- Place the cups where you have some light and not move much.
- Change water every 2-3 days.
- Wait one week for the garlic bulbs to sprout long leaves and roots.
- Then take your bulbs out to your garden and dig about 6 inch deep holes for your garlic.
- Plant your garlic using some plant food so they’ll be healthy when you harvest them.
- Now wait for 7-8 months for garlic bulbs to form.
- Water to keep the soil wet but not muddy.
- When the stalks turn brownish and wilted, bulbs are ready to harvest.
As I said, it’s really simple and I think you should try it because nothing is more fresh than straight from the garden! I planted my garlic bulbs pretty recently so I’ll do an update when I harvest them. And you can prepare as many garlic bulbs as you want! If you plant a garlic garden, don’t forget to send me a picture! Thank you for reading, see you next time, Bye!
