The Spin Art Machine

The Spin Art Machine

Dear Readers, Today, I am doing something fun. I am going to show you how I made spin art on a machine called the spin art machine. When you order the kit, the spin art machine does not come put together, you have to build it. I built the spin art machine myself and wanted to share how I created the spin art. I gave myself a head start and tried it already, so I know how it works. It is really fun and encourage you to buy it. Here is the video: <3 Monkey Me

My Opinions On Covid-19

(these were my opinions on 3/21/2020, also they are notes for myself) Corona virus or Covid 19 is a virus from a city in China called Wuhan that soon spread all over the world. Covid 19 in China started in December of 2019. It spread across the world in 2020 January and February. Covid 19 is easily spreadable. What made it worse that it had no vaccine to take. If you got this virus you would just die because it has no vaccine but, surprisingly there were more Covid 19 survivors than the people who died. Important Things I Did...

A Swiss Book

A Swiss Book

Hi and welcome back, today I wanted to talk about a Swiss book called Heidi. Heidi is a strong girl who loved mountains and goats. The author of Heidi is Johanna Spyri. This book is full of laughs, bravery, confidence, and a little bit of sadness. Heidi is also made into a movie. The little difference from the book and movie is that the characters look different, some parts were added in the movie that aren’t in the book. The mountains Heidi sees have names in the book but don’t in the movie. Johanna has written more than twenty- five...

Planting Fenugreek Seeds

In the Indian culture, fenugreek leaves are cooked very often. So we plant them often, too. Here is how to plant them. First look for a place in your garden to plant these seeds. Then clean up the spot if it has mulch, weeds twigs, etc. Make straight lines with a rake. Now take two thick layers of dirt into a pile of where your chosen spot ends. Now get your seeds ready. Take a few seeds in your palm and drizzle them all over the spot. Then take the two layers of dirt you took out and put it...

Sankranti

Sankranti

Sankranti is an Indian festival that is celebrated in honor of Surya, the sun god. We celebrate this when winter slowly starts turning into spring. During Sankranti we draw big drawings called muggu or kolam. We draw these kolams with our hands using rice flour like a parrot kolam, Butterfly kolam , a kite, and butter pots. We draw the butter pots because in spring more butter is made. I drew the butterfly kolam and my mom drew the rest. We also colored and outlined with color powder called rangoli coloring. Drawing with your hands may be difficult for you...

It has been a good long fall break and I am going to start working on my blog again. I had recently started reading this book called The Secret Ingredient. It is the second book in the series of The Teashop Girls.  When I started reading the first book I thought it was going to be boring and bad, but when I finished the book I liked it so much that I asked for the second book. These Teashop Girl books are so well written for kids. The book is hilarious and entertaining. What I really liked about the book...
